Toronto rapper Drake is essentially a walking work of art, let’s face it. He’s a beautiful man with the voice of an angel who has fans feeling some type of way every time he opens his mouth or flashes his cheeky grin. So it’s only fitting that he take centre stage as the star of the latest art-themed issue of W Magazine.

The issue features a series of Drake-themed artworks by five contemporary artists including KAWS, Jim Joe (the guy behind the If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late album cover), Mark Flood, Henry Taylor, and Katherine Bernhardt, who each used the 6 God as their muse. It’s a diverse collection of work that covers photography, sculpture, and painting.

We see Drake being serious and moody, Drake looking happy, Drake hanging outside a grocery store, Drake in figurine form, Drake chilling with pals in a trendy denim and sheepskin jacket: it’s all pretty great TBH.

Alongside the images, there’s also an interview where we learn of Drizzy’s thoughts on hometown Toronto, singing in the shower, and his quest for greatness. W Magazine is a long way from Degrassi Street, and we’re pretty stoked that the Canadian music powerhouse is being celebrated for the work of art that he is. Read the full feature here.

Check out the amazing artworks in the gallery above.
