Having previously exhibited in Perth, Sydney, and Tokyo, Ta-ku is bringing his residency project ‘823’ to Collingwood’s Lindberg Gallery on December 7 . ‘823’ is presented by Dropbox and explores the producer, photographer, and visual artist’s fascination with the analogue photography, journaling his creative collaborations.

The three-day long presentation will showcase Ta-ku’s work and includes photo walks hosted by Create & Explore collective, as well as panel discussions with Soulection and Beats 1 Radio’s Joe Kay. Ta-ku will also host an intimate studio session with Melbourne’s Thrupence, and one lucky competition winner on December 8.

“For the Melbourne event in particular, I wanted to invite a number of friends and collaborators who traverse being a visual artist and a musician. Joe Kay of Soulection and Melbourne’s Jack Vanzet aka Thrupence are both creators I’ve admired for years,” Ta-ku says of his Melbourne collaborators.
