The Moleskine café in Milan is built for coffee and creativity

Café, art gallery, store and library in the one space

Posted by

Renowned Italian stationery brand Moleskine is making Instagram dreams come true by teaming up with Milan-based coffee roasters Seven Grams to provide a calming setting for you to drink carefully-selected espresso blends in the partnership’s first café. The café located in Milan, is a place to drink coffee, eat healthy gourmet foods (because #cleaneating), appreciate art, talk about literature in the library space, and purchase custom Moleskine-packaged coffee beans and Moleskine stationery. The brand’s official website describes the new café as “a  contemporary reinterpretation of the idea of the café littéraire, it is a new space that supplies energy to boost creativity as well as moments of deep thinking and relaxation”.

Much-like Moleskine’s collection, the café’s design is based on minimalism with neutral colours  “just like the pages of a Moleskine notebook”. Complete with boutique-like display corner for sales, it’s everything you could want in a café and more… as long as you’re in Milan.  Details about the next Moleskine Cafés’ locations are being kept under lock and key for now, but what we do know is that they’ll be rolling out worldwide, so fingers crossed there will be one near us pretty soon. In the meantime, take a look at the epic new café in the gallery above.
