Whilst many forms of tributes have come flooding in across the internet since Alexander McQueen's suicide recently, Puma have decided to showcase their collaboration with the creative fashion designer by producing a series of sneakers for their 2010 Autumn/Winter Collection.

Working with the concept of “Tiger vs. Crane” the collection combines technology and tradition with a number of well crafted silhouettes. Often described as an outlandish avant-garde “genius” of a designer, Alexander McQueen was a talented individual that was not afraid of controversy, showing ‘bumster’ trousers, ripped clothes and stuffed animals down the catwalk.

McQueen was a four-time winner of the British Designer of the Year awards and a creative director of his own label. He left us with these amazing designs with Puma and his latest Summer/Spring 2010 Collection which was critically acclaimed as his best ever. It is truly unfortunate that the fashion world has lost such a great talent days before the Fashion Weeks have started around the world.

Rest in Peace Mr McQueen: March 17, 1969 - February 11, 2010
