Flare - Turntablism On Your iPhone!

Posted on October 30, 2009 1:46 pm | Posted by Pj Smith
So we just got an email from the one and only Luke Dubs, one half of the super producing group Hermitude, letting us know about a special side project he's been working on and which is starting to generate a bit of buzz.

Titled Flare, it's a new app for all you savvy iPhone owners with which you can scratch and cut on the go. Dubs was directly involved with developing the 5 beats provided and hand picking the samples that also come packaged with Flare so you know shit will bump. The real strength with anything like this though of course is the ability to add your own music files and Flare steps up and lets you do this with mp3, wav, ima4 and m4a all supported.

Bar actually trying the program to see how authentic it handles we're pretty stoked to get our hands on this. Once we've had a play we'll come back and give you our verdict.

Check 'Dj OG' giving you the rundown on Flare and schooling you on some turntable technique.

You can get it now via the iTunes App Store.
