Everyone’s favourite doughnut junkie Homer Simpson has been given a chance to be the buff hero, for once, in a new couch gag for The Simpsons series. The iconic intro sequence has been treated in ’80s Miami Vice-style, with the normally slow-moving, dad bod of all dad bods getting the leading man role, complete with super-cut physique, white suit and pink singlet combo, and incredibly chiselled jawline. His head is still bald but it works in his favour in this instance. Flanders, Bart, Lisa, and Marge all get a look-in as well, with their own ’80s-glam makeovers.
