Trust me Daddy, there’s another Skepta documentary on the way. Just weeks after the release of his Levi’s project Music & Revolution comes the trailer for Apple Music’s imminent doco, and this one puts your man front and centre.

Skepta: Greatness Only looks like it will top off a massive year for one of the kings of grime. The MC with unmistakable flow won the acclaimed Mercury Prize for his album Konnichiwa and sold out London’s Ally Pally in 2016.

Focusing on the past decade in Skepta’s life, and his rise to music god status, the Apple Music and Beats 1 collaboration will feature a bunch of his closest affiliates including his sister, Julie Adenuga. Adenuga is a host for Beats 1 and we were lucky enough to hear her story for our brand new print issue.

In the trailer, Skepta is seen discussing the difficulties he has faced with “being at the top”, describing it as a “straight nervous breakdown”. It appears the doco will give a more personal insight into Skepta’s past showing the fans the highs and lows of what has so far been an incredible and difficult career.

Watch the trailer below. Skepta: Greatness Only will be released on Apple Music on December 19.
