Bars is Acclaim’s weekly wrap up of all the music we want you to get in on. Whether it’s new albums, mixtapes, tracks, or videos, we’re here wading through the noise to bring you only the finest happenings in the world of music. Hit the list below to see what we’ve been bumping this week.

01. Kelela – 'LMK'

Kelela is back with the first single, ‘LMK’, off her forthcoming album Take Me Apart, which is due on October 6. It’s a very welcome return from the producer, songwriter, and singer who looks set to embark on the biggest push of her career. We can’t wait.

02. Billy Davis – 'Goldfish (ft. Denzel Curry)'

Melbourne artist Billy Davis dropped a new one today with ‘Goldfish’ featuring US rapper Denzel Curry on some funked out beats. It’s not what we’re used to from Denzel, but it’s a welcome diversion from his usual cloud rap vibe. Billy’s got an album coming soon so be sure to keep an eye out for that if you’re digging this.

03. Vic Mena – 'The Autobiography'

Vic Mensa’s debut album The Autobiography is finally with us, thankfully it was well worth the wait. Be sure to read our cover story with Vic from Acclaim Issue 35. Above is one of our favourite tracks ‘Gorgeous’ featuring another Acclaim cover star, with Syd on vocals.

04. Kendrick Lamar – 'LOYALTY (ft. Rihanna)' video

Kendrick keeps rolling out the videos for DAMN. tracks and we keep happily clicking play, staring eagerly at the screen, and then begging for more. This clip sets the bar higher for everyone else, yet again. It features a mafia version of Kenny confronting himself and RiRi out here owning shit as per usual. What more could you want, really?

05. D.R.A.M. – 'Cute (Remix ft. Cardi B)'

D.R.A.M. originally threw ‘Cute’ out to the world as a Soundcloud single but has now followed up with a remix featuring Cardi B. Cardi absolutely owns on the track, a sign that she continues to go from strength to strength.
