The Internet recently stopped by the NPR offices to perform an intimate set for Tiny Desk Concert. The nature of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert is usually to have the artist perform stripped back versions of songs. For their set, The Internet cram themselves into a corner and play a few acoustic-ish renditions of ‘Get Away’ and ‘Under Control’ from their latest album, Ego Death.

Whilst Syd Tha Kid might not have the strongest voice, her presence is imbued with an amazing sense of confidence as she chats away with the audience (stuffing in banter between lines). To be honest, it wouldn’t have been a bad thing if these wound-down versions were the real thing.
