It had everybody talking before it even aired but the much hyped ABC sitcom, and creation of culinary lord/cultural commentator/Human Panda Eddie Huang, Fresh Off The Boat, premiered strongly overnight. The show’s theme song has also received some particular attention, as it turns out Detroit rapper Danny Brown lent his talents to the musical intro, which will air weekly on ABC. Brown, who also appeared on the Vice series of (previously) the same name, lays down his signature high-energy delivery over a beat heavily influence by Huang’s Taiwanese background.
