Hitting the internet yesterday, ‘Loaded Up’ is the new single from ILoveMakonnen featuring Lil Yachty and Skippa Da Flippa. In the wake of his departure from Drake’s OVO label, the rapper is clearly set on his own game with the killer single. Produced by Danny Wolf, the track set fire to SoundCloud in a matter of minutes. We’re talking tubular digi-bells, fresh synth melodies, and the all too cruisey rappers cooling it as they kill every hook.

Lil Yachty himself is a total G in his own rights, all the way down to having his personal Gmail in his Insta bio. If you are yet to have acquainted yourself with his music, we’re sure you probably saw him centre stage at Yeezy Season 3. The 18-year-old is definitely making waves (pun intended) having dropped his first mixtape Lil Boat The Mixtape on SoundCloud, which is definitely worth a listen— especially in preparation for the upcoming tape with ILoveMakonnen.

On third verse features, Skippa Da Dipper comes through with no sign of holding back making for a proper lit track. We’re fans of pretty much anything loaded up, from wallets to fries and this song sits just as high as Lord of the Fires in our opinion. The description reads “Lil Yachty X ILoveMakonnen mixtape coming soon!” That alone is more than enough to get us excited, and that actual song only adds to the hype.

As we are sure you all know, ILoveMakonnen was featured in our most recent print issue, and we are definitely feeling the love from the yung rapper.
