Earlier this week one of ACCLAIM’s favourite artists iLoveMakonnen announced on Twitter that he may be retiring from the trap/rap game. “It’s like for me to stay, I have to diss all these rappers and be negative,” he wrote. “I don’t wanna do that, so I’ll move on”.

But the producer/rapper has done a complete 360 (for now) by dropping ‘Sound Like Who?’ which has Makonnen accusing unnamed rappers of biting his style over an infectious trap beat. Who knows if the retirement talk was build up to the release of this track or of this is his actual swan song. In any case, it’s definitely worth checking out ‘Sound Like Who?’ below.
