Following the launch of their own animated series on FXX, Major Lazer are preparing to truly take over every media platform in the name of peace and party beats with the release of their third studio album, Peace is the Mission’, through Warner Music on June 1. We’ve already heard the certified killer single ‘Lean On’ featuring MØ and DJ Snake (refresh your memory in the gallery above), and with names like Ellie Goulding, Travi$ Scott, Pusha T, Elliphant, and more on the roster, the full album looks set to explode when the release date rolls round in the US. Looks like peace isn’t the only mission for Diplo, DJ Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire either – this is just the first of a series of albums set to drop from the dancehall inspired squad over the next year. Looks like it’s Lazer season.
