I’m not sure if this is the right time to admit that I am yet to watch Breaking Bad but I do have Internet access so I was more than aware it was the finale this week. If there’s one thing we can really be proud of as Australians, it’s that we topped the illicit rankings of illegal downloads of the episode with more than 500,000 downloads. Well done guys!

According to the TorrentFreak website, the show was illegally downloaded more than half a million times within 12 hours of the first copy appearing online. So was it good because those numbers are crazy.

“I can’t even believe that the ratings have increased with each episode – I just think it’s wonderful,” Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan.
