Once you find magic in a new place overseas, it’s hard not to go back again and again. Photographer Lachlan Waterhouse couldn’t stay away from the vibes of Bulgaria, with his last trip obviously solidifying his affinity for the Balkan nation. Last summer, he made his way back, capturing some more highlights from the country’s capital city and surrounding areas. There’s definitely more sense of familiarity in this series, featuring more intimate shots of life at the street-level of Sofia. Of course, there is still a healthy dose of trains, paint, and football. See the full series in the gallery above.
