Despite the torrential rain hitting the city streets, dedicated streetwear enthusiasts showed up in force to check out yesterday’s Sydney Swap Meet. With this year’s festival being supported by PUMA, the brand was well-represented throughout aMBUSH Gallery and on-feet by many attendees. Crowds also had the opportunity to get their hands on one of their exclusive tees created specifically for the event, which unsurprisingly were all allocated within the first few hours of the meet.

Across the stalls, swap-goers had the opportunity to get their hands on some sought after gear and merchandise, including an impressive array of Jordans seen across the stalls, the highly coveted NMD_R1 Primeknit Camos, and even a collection of vintage NBA VHS tapes. Local designers, stores, and personalities were also well-represented on the day, with the likes of Halfsleeve, Sydney Romantics, and illeqwip having a strong presence among others such as top chef and sneaker head, Dan Hong. For those wanting a feed, fried chicken and sneaker store, Butter Sydney were on-hand to cater for the crowd and keep the people well-fed while they hunted for their next purchase. Check out the gallery above for a closer look.
