When souvenir jackets became the trend of all trends last year, we had a feeling they’d stick around. The good people at Gucci seem to agree, as they’ve made the souvenir jacket of all souvenir jackets for SS17.

To break it down, we’re talking a sky-blue silk-satin outer with appliquéd flowers, birds and butterflies. Ribbed knit red and royal blue borders complete the look and this jacket pretty much has us on the phone to Gucci asking if they do payment plans. Yep, the only catch is that the jacket costs the same amount as my year’s worth of rent. Considering the godsend embroidery was hand done, there are no surprises over here.

Having just landed on Mr Porter, they suggest wearing it with an Embroidered Oxford shirt, Cotton-Drill Trousers and Embroidered low-top sneakers. It truly doesn’t get more luxe than that.
