April is here and with it you can feel a change in the air. Winter is rapidly approaching and it already feels like it’s going to be a long one. In defiance of the looming colder weather this issue of Limit’d escaped to the beach.

The man behind our beachside expedition was artist and designer Mitch Revs. We hit up Mitch to show us around his hometown of Newcastle, where he lives and makes art. His boldly coloured, cartoon-like illustrations are the effect of a lifetime drenched in sun, surf, and skate. All things that we needed to experience before we felt the winter blues.

Also heating up this issue of Limit’d is singer, songwriter, and producer Maribelle. That’s a close as you’ll get to putting a label on Maribelle. While others are struggling to find their place in the mash of modern genre, she’s thriving in the gaps and shadows in between. Maribelle makes guilty-pleasure music, except she doesn’t feel bad about it. In fact she’s even launched a record label called Crush Club where she’ll be helping others do the same.
