Italian artist Nicola Bolla is taking the high-roller approach to modern sculpture by entirely covering her works in Swarovski crystals. The pictures were shot by Turin-based photographer Sergio Alfrendini in gloomy, menacing backdrops as to give prominence to the vexing yet bewitching nature of the artist’s work. I wouldn’t want to speculate on the price tag hanging off these crystallised figures but I’m sure there’s no journalist discount. (Damn it.)
