It’s been 18 years since we’ve seen a new episode from the Dragon Ball series. 18 years, that’s the same time span it takes for a child to become an adult.

Usually when a series goes for such a large period of time without releasing any new content, you’d deem it extinct, and on the slight chance it may ever return, you definitely wouldn’t be expecting the shows original creator to be on board.

Well, luckily for Dragon Ball fans it seems that miracles do happen. Over the weekend, via Fuji TV, Japan, the show that was once loved and obsessed over by many, made its return to the screen as Dragon Ball Super.

Yes, it’s back, with original creator Akira Toriyama along with old favourites Gotenks, Goku, Vegeta, Master Roshi and Majin Buu. Even though it didn’t air down here–or in english–some legend was pretty quick to upload the show’s intro for us to feast our eyes on. Check it out in the gallery above. I know there’s no Fuji TV here in Australia, but there’s internet. I know what I’d do.
