Event recap: Pseushi Autumn showroom x John Kaye Desire and compulsion
Art
War and conflict are certainly not new experiences for mankind. It’s astonishing how little we’ve learnt (and how apathetic some can be) when there are so many examples of the devastating effects this can have on entire regions and peoples. Photographer Callum Royle took his lens to Romania to see how certain areas are still obviously affected by the fall of communism almost 30 years ago. The images culminated in an exhibition titled A Sobered Communist, which opened in Collingwood last week.
