Explore the bright and colourful world of Jamaican dance through the works of Robin Clare. Robin’s images combine popular Jamaican dance moves stemming from the late ’50s and dance words. Learn how to Row Di Boat or Dip and Come Up in these vivid, dancehall culture–inspired artistic pieces which double as guides for terrible dancers like myself. The exhibition opens Tuesday July 9 and is complete with dancehall, dub and reggae tunes and an Appleton Estate Rum cocktail on arrival.
