To many, the idea of playing your favourite NES game and having the ability to simultaneously shred chords on your guitar seems pretty foreign. However, one man’s dreams are now his reality. Fibbef, an administrator for BitFixGaming Boards, has recently designed what he calls the ‘Guitar Boy’ – a fully functioning electric guitar which incorporates a Raspberry Pi Game Boy emulator into its body. What will serve as an exhibition piece for his 2015 Game Boy Classic build off, the Guitar Boy is fitted with a 5″ LCD display, custom wooden buttons (which double as volume and tone controls), and is housed by a plexiglass shell.

To see the Guitar Boy in action, be sure to check out the video in our gallery above.
