For the Jonathan Levine booth at Scope@Art Basel, Japanese artists Haroshi have once again blended their creative touch and love for skating by producing some work featuring see-through sneakers (Nike Dunk, Vans Half Cab, Hufnagel Pro) and multi-coloured foot sculptures. By employing the use of basic horizontal and vertical lines, along with some mosaic-esque qualities in their latest work, Haroshi have demonstrated why their minimalist style is both fun and appealing, whilst also highlighting the aesthetic appeal of the humble skate shoe. Feet aren’t meant to be this attractive.
