Did you hear that? The world just joined together in one big collective sigh of relief as Hong Kong’s enormous rubber duck made it’s return to Victoria Harbour.

Last week authorities sent a team of experts to investigate the tragic deflation of the best sculpture ever to uncover whether it was a highly unfortunate natural occurrence or a malicious attack by an extremist anti-duck group. Now that the traumatic event is in the past, organisers have cited ‘maintenance reasons’ for the duck’s abrupt deflation.

Thankfully for us, and for the sculpture’s creator Florentijn Hofman, the 16.5m rubber duck is back to its buoyant best and will continue to bob happily along the harbour until June 9th.
