Rome-based architecture and design studio LAD, have designed a series 1:200 scale small villas or “villae minimae” in natural, isolated landscapes. Aesthetically, they were based on the notion of distorting a simple geometric figure and created for viewing the landscape and nature, rather than as a functioning house. With the purpose of exploring the dichotomy between “nature and edifice,” the villas were designed with special attention to providing different views of the surroundings and the sky.

Take a look at the impressive designs above and envision what your life would be like living in one of them. Bliss, pure bliss.
