After dropping a teaser a couple of months ago, anticipation for Quentin Tarantino’s forthcoming film has been steadily building. Now we get a look at the official cinematic trailer (which is actually about the same length as that teaser), ahead of its release next year. Tarantino sticks to his winning formula with The Hateful Eight—all-star ensemble cast, a healthy dose of one-liners, and a good old gun fight or two. Samuel L Jackson is obviously a highlight in any Tarantino flick, but Kurt Russell takes a bad-ass turn in his role as John “The Hangman” Ruth. So if you’re keen to ‘spend the holidays with someone you hate’ (because, let’s face it, we all inevitably do), check out the trailer above.
The Hateful Eight will be released in Australia in January 2016.
