Combining work and play in his ‘1:1 Toys’ series, photographer and digital manipulator extraordinaire Daniel Picard brought to life his childhood toys. Taking the prized figurines to beautiful locations and shooting them, digitally altering them later making them look full size. His technique ensures a scary sort of realism and adds a certain depth of emotion to his work. Whether it’s Batman painting the city or a storm trooper playing on the train tracks each boasts stunning imagery.
