Sydney photographer Kevin Diallo returns to our pages with a series from his recent travels to Ivory Coast in west Africa. “I was on assignment for a local NGO, the photos were taken in a village named Fetekro near Bouake (a city in the middle of the country). Those populations were deeply affected by 10 years of civil war and our mission was to go and interview the residents of the village in the lead up to an exhibition in Abidjan (economical capital of the Ivory Coast) to raise money for them.”
