Boston native Dave Powell relocated to Tokyo, Japan in the year 2001, making his way into a country and culture with a vibrant history and distinct personality, and soon finding himself taken with its beauty. Turning to street photography to capture the world unfolding around him, Powell would begin writing and shooting for his popular photography blog StreetTokyo some 10 years later, in 2011.

Now, Dave Powell has joined forces with SmugMug to briefly step in front of the camera and talk about what inspires him, and his art, in an enlightening video following Powell on his journeys through all of the beauty and mystique of Tokyo.
