Once the preserve of the obsessive-compulsive and the bored primary-school teacher, the humble diorama is getting a makeover thanks to Melbourne graffiti writer Lush. Know for his provocative, and sometimes straight up bizarre, takes on graffiti culture, Lush has been creating scale models in his studio for some time now. Ranging from perfect replicas of landmark spots, to surreal arrangements that give an insight into the mind of the prolific vandal, these aren’t exactly the dioramas that you made in arts and crafts class. Lush runs us through a few of his recent creations, without a pipe cleaner or glitter glu-stick in sight.
