Just published, Shake is a new book by photographer Carli Davidson featuring nothing but photographs of dogs caught mid-shake by high-speed cameras. The Portland-based photographer presents us with 130 full-page portraits of high-speed jowl-flapping, fur-flying, drool-loosening water expulsion that transforms the ordinary dogs into amusing caricatures.

In celebration of Shake‘s launch, Davidson teamed up with creative collective Variable to release a two-minute montage of the best dog-shaking action. The book is available from most booksellers, and prints of some of the portraits can be found on Carli’s homepage.
