1000 life-size Pikachu have taken over the streets of Yokohama in Japan as part of the Pikachu Outbreak! event. From August 9-17, Japan will be hosting this event, which falls in line with the celebrations of the 17th Pokémon movie, Cocoon Diancie and Annihilation.

As part of the distribution of the event, 50 life-sized Pikachu took to the streets at five different locations of Yokohama. The Pikachu distributed to players were level 10, holds an event ribbon, and knows the moves thunderbolt, quick attack, surf and hold hands.
