A San Francisco man has lost a lawsuit (for the second time) in which he alleges he suffered a two-day erection after riding a BMW motorbike. Originally filed in 2012, Henry Wolf tried to sue BMW and seat manufacturer, Corbin-Pacific Inc, after claiming the “ridge-like” motorcycle seat (paired with the vibration from the bike) caused the painful condition, saying it also caused him emotional distress. The authorities dismissed this case but it didn’t stop Wolf from pursuing the matter further, who applied to appeal the court’s decision.

According to local reports, a panel of judges have now thrown out the appeal, saying that it “contains no intelligible argument”, and further affirms the San Francisco Superior Court’s original decision to dismiss the case. And, to add insult to the already embarrassing injury, Wolf has been orders to pay the defendants’ appeal costs, which will definitely see him forking out tens of thousands of dollars.
