If you thought your social life and street cred was safe, now that Flappy Bird has been taken off the market, think again. It looks like the frustratingly addictive game will be making a comeback, somewhere in the distant future, and it’s bringing some similarly annoying mates. The app creator, Dong Nguyen, has come out of his self-imposed exile to randomly tweet about the possible return of the game, as well as his more immediate plans to release another mobile game.

Despite his initial freak-out about all the ‘unwanted attention’ his creation had introduced to his lie, Nguyen is pretty open about most things on Twitter and replying directly to basically anyone who tweets at him, including Justin Bieber. And for a dude who now has 170,000 followers, that’s as impressive as achieving a double-digit score in Flappy Bird.
