Justin Egli is a travel, art & culture writer based in Tokyo. He first visited Japan in 2003, but since he didn’t own a digital camera, all the photos he took were with disposable cameras which he would process at the end of the month. For this instalment of Postcards, Justin shares some snaps he’s just re-discovered from his first period in Japan.
“Some of these photos I haven’t looked at in over twelve years and I can’t even recall taking some of them. But there is a strange sense of déjà vu, like remembering the unknown.”
