Postcards: Melvin Berzamina in Europe

You always remember your first time

Posted by

Holidays can come and go in the blink of an eye. The planning and anticipation leading up to a trip can make you feel like you’re stuck in slow-motion and then you pack your bags, have the time of your life, and before you know it, you’re back to the usual. This is why documenting your travels can be so important – you will always have those mental memories but it’s always nice to look back on some physical evidence of your time abroad to invoke those same feelings. Vacation photos are also a good way to remind you of some of those hazier moments overseas.

Melvin Berzamina finally ticked Europe off his bucket list last year, visiting eight cities across five countries in just five weeks. Travelling with eight mates and meeting up with a bunch more in the EU, this trip was expectedly lit and was a definite eye-opener for Melvin. “It was my first time ever in Europe, so everything was so new and foreign to me, so I had to make sure to capture and document my experience.” After six months, he finally developed the film he shot during that European summer and you can check out the results above.
