Just as the days are getting shorter and the weather more depressing, two of your favourite shows have released trailers to ease your Seasonal Affective Disorder a little. Orange is the New Black‘s hotly anticipated season three teaser sees the inmates of Litchfield Penitentiary back at it, with Alex inside again, Crazy Eyes writing fiction and .3 seconds of Ruby Rose doing Ruby Rose, but in prison.

Meanwhile a first look at True Detective‘s second season looks set to deliver, with Nick Pizzolatto stepping up to write all eight of the series’ episodes and Fast and Furious’ Justin Lin called in to direct the first two. If the minute long teaser for the show is anything to go by, we can look forward to plenty of what made us fall in love with True Detective in the first place–ciggies smoked in gritty locations and famous people with a take-no-prisoners approach to wigs and moustaches.

Better still, both shows are set to air sooner than you would have thought possible, with Orange is the New Black available on Netflix from June 12th and True Detective on in the US from June 21st.
