Tokyo’s Ghibli Museum attracts around 700,000 visitors worldwide each year, but I have a feeling this latest addition will smash that number out of the park. Previously, only children under the age of 12 could ride the classic Catbus, from the anime My Neighbor Totoro, but as of July 17, that all changes – adults will be able to as well.

If you’re a big kid at heart and just so happen to be in Tokyo from July  17 2016 to May 2017, it’s definitely something you won’t want to miss. Even if you’re not a huge fan of the Catbus (but how could you not be?), there’s 4,000 square meters of pure Studio Ghibli bliss with spectacles such as the Robot Soldier from Castle in the Sky, Inokashira Park in Mitaka, and the 3D zoetrope.
