Adelaide electronic artist Oisima could often be described as producing trip-hop, or so we thought before hearing this track. It seems like the talented producer is heading towards lush, churning suites more on par with Four Tet or Blue Sky Black Death than anything we’ve heard from him before. The result is excellent chillout music and suggests that his upcoming debut album Nicaragua Nights is going to be more of an overall listening experience than individual beat cuts. Another slice we heard off the album some time back, ‘Sun of Truth‘, had the same kind of moody instrumental fog in the background but, coupled with a faster tempo and more lucid vocals, hints that there’s a diverse range of tracks in store for us.
