Kanye has surprised us all, yet again. He crashed Chance’s 2016 Magnificent Coloring Day set in Chicago performing a medley of his hits, past and present. Need I say more? It is everything.
As part of Chance’s set, ‘Ye performed a concoction of his hits including ‘Black Skinhead’, ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing, ‘Touch The Sky’, ‘Gold Digger’, ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1’, and ‘Pt. 2’. We know that’s a lot to take in. They then performed ‘Ultralight Beam’ from Pablo, and it gave us goosebumps. Yes, Yeezy relied on the audio track a lot, but it didn’t matter; his presence was enough. Chance absolutely killed his verse, especially when he went ham on “you can feel the lyrics, the spirit coming in braille”. The energy from the audience is electric. FOMO at its finest.

Side note: it’s pretty hard not to miss Tyler, The Creator on the sideline in his bright yellow shirt and shorts combo. Is he the most stylish hype girl there is? We think so. But that’s not totally surprising when you’re the mastermind behind Golf Wang.
Anyway, check out the surprise gig below; it will honestly make your whole week. To celebrate, let’s throw it back to ‘Black Skinhead’, ‘Touch The Sky’, ‘Gold Digger’, and ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ in the gallery above, because who doesn’t love a Yeezy throwback? Happy listening.
