How can you hate D.R.A.M.? Seriously, it’s like hating labradors or Sunday mornings. His songs are catchy, his personality is loveable and now he does lit AF ‘Tiny Desk Concerts’. Yesterday, the Virginia singer/rapper dropped by the National Public Radio [NPR] offices for an intimate performance of some of his best hits, including ‘Special’ from Chance the Rapper’s Colouring Book mixtape.

D.R.A.M.’s music may be reliant on maximalism but here tracks from his 2016 debut Big Baby D.R.A.M. are hollowed down to sweet lullabies. This includes his chart-smashing, Grammy-nominated hit ‘Broccoli’, which opens with D.R.A.M. executing such bashful harmonies that you’ll have to resist the urge to  jump through the computer screen and hug him.
