Chris Brown is being investigated by Las Vegas police after accusations from alleged victim Liziane Gutierrez, who claims that the R&B singer hit her in the face when he saw her taking a photo of him at a private party at the Palms Hotel. According to Gutierrez, she managed to sneak her phone past Brown’s security and was trying to take a photo of the singer when he spotted her, started yelling and then punched her in the face and took her phone. She left the hotel and called police several hours later, and he is now being investigated for battery and misdemeanour theft for taking the phone.

The 26-year-old singer denied the accusations on social media, throwing profanities in her direction. “I don’t know this old looking bitch. This bitch is old, like dusty, look at her in the Jason Derulo video. Like she came to Vegas, she probably came to my room and was too ugly to get in,” he said in a now-deleted Instagram video. “Making false accusations seems to be a pattern of behaviour for Ms. Gutierrez. Whatever her motives, her statements are unequivocally untrue.

Ms Gutierrez was escorted out of the private after party at the Palms Casino Resort for being disruptive and out of control. Once she was in the hallway, while waiting for Chris Brown’s security to bring out her phone, she had a total meltdown-throwing her purse to the ground and claiming that she ‘could buy everyone in the hotel’-as witnessed by numerous people waiting to get into the party. The Palms Casino Resort security also saw her wild behaviour via hotel security cameras and immediately came up to the hallway to escort her out of the hotel.

Her claim that she had her phone in her possession inside the after party and was able to take a photo causing an altercation with Chris Brown is a complete fabrication. I’m not sure what mood altering substances Ms. Gutierrez was on but her statements are completely false and not based in reality. This seems like a clear case of retaliation for her bruised ego.”

Brown is still being investigated.
