As May 21 creeps closer Daft Punk continue to dish out small details about how their highly anticipated fourth album Random Access Memories came together. The French beat masters recently sat down with the Rolling Stone for a chat about the whole album making process. Their main goals for the album weren’t easy: to create robotic voices that sound human-like, form original sounds without using samplers and to erase the word ‘stagnancy’ from the current modern electronic music world. With musical contributions from big names like The Strokes badass Julian Casablancas, Panda Bear of Animal Collective fame and Pharrell it could be a pretty achievable goal; and if anyone can do it, it’s Daft Punk.
