Vogue editor Anna Wintour is a notorious figure in the fashion industry known for her demanding character and keen eye for the latest fashion trends. You might picture her better from Meryl Streep’s performance as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada, which is believed to be based on Wintour. As head honcho of the biggest fashion publication in the world, Wintour’s job involves scouting out the latest design talent for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award.
Contestants for this year’s award were prompted to work with Intel to create futuristic fashion pieces – which were showcased by models, actors and even rappers… like Desiigner. In collaboration with LA streetwear brand STAMPD, Desiigner busted out an acapella rap verse of ‘Tiimmy Turner’ for Wintour and other panelists judging for the prestigious award. Desiigner was definitely the star of the day, delighting the biggest names in fashion with his rhymes.
