As part of the Ten Years Strong Series, The Operatives will be presenting the return tour of Mr. Carmack. Having already established himself as one of the most creative and unique producers in the game right now. Mr. Carmack has been the name-checked by the likes of Pharrell and DJ Shadow, when he’s not busy putting out his prolific releases through Mad Decent, Team Supreme and Soulection.

Just last year, The Operatives discovered this Hawaii-based producer blurring the lines between between hip-hop and dance music in such a progressive way that he “even has the most experienced producers scratching their heads.” After supporting Ryan Hemsworth and Kaytranada at one of the biggest Espionage events of 2012, he has returned to Australia for a headline of his own. After having hugely successful shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, The Operatives are proud to present a “hometown present in the form of a secret show.”

Alongside Operatives stalwarts JPS, Nam and Rintrah, Mr. Carmack will be playing at Section 8, Melbourne for a free gig on Thursday 1st May. Limited Entry.
