Summer finally arrived last weekend to usher in an idyllic Footscray afternoon of thumping tunes at Laneway festival. With the kind of killer lineup most festivals can only dream of, it was guaranteed to be packed out and pumped up. Little Dragon, FKA Twigs, Mac Demarco, Vic Mensa, Seekae, St Vincent and pretty much any artist on regular rotation on your iPod turned up on the banks of the Maribyrnong river to keep it going deep into the balmy night.
