And the Laneway 2016 sideshows keep rolling in. Thundercat is the latest to announce headline shows during the festival run, with dates secured in Melbourne and Sydney next February. The LA legend AKA Stephen Bruner has been very busy of late, having helped create the masterpiece that is Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly and, most recently, linking up with other greats Flying Lotus and Shabazz Palaces on new music. His appearance at the 2016 Laneway Festival is definitely going to be a highlight but his headline show is one not to be missed. He’ll be assisted by local talents Sampa The Great and Silent Jay in Sydney and Melbourne, respectively.
