Jessi Wade and Tiffany Clark are better known as the sinister duo Dark Sister. The young American pair make spooky music for spooky people. Lyrically and sonically dark, they’re back with a brand new EP – Darkest Lipstick (In The Drug Store) – and we’re happy to be able to premiere it here on ACCLAIM. Their latest effort is a complicated layering of influence, from ’90s nu-metal to early ’80s hip-hop. Dark Sister are bewitching, entrancing, and a little bit scary – and we can’t wait to get to know them a little better. If you agree, and you’re in New York – make sure you catch them at Spectrum this Friday, and say hi for us. Full details after the stream.
