Frank Ocean just announced via Tumblr post that his long awaited follow up to Channel Orange is on its way. The image above was uploaded twice in the same post with the subtitle “I got two versions. I got twooo versions…” which could be a reference to the two different magazine covers seen in the pic or perhaps a suggestion regarding the album’s release format. No word yet on the album’s title but as you may have been able to surmise, the accompanying magazine will be called Boys Don’t Cry.
The image was posted with the hashtags #Issue1, #ALBUM3 and #JULY2015 and it’s since been confirmed by his management that the album is due to drop in July with its official title still unannounced.
This is probably one of the most anticipated sophomore albums in recent menu so keep it locked to ACCLAIM if you want to stay updated on more as it comes.
